Outcome 4: Provincial and district land use planning and allocation is based on true community participation and community land rights are enforced.

Reliable land use planning, allocation and tenure is an essential basis for the sustainable use of agrobiodiversity resources. TABI will support relevant on-going activities and supplement them where necessary by:

  • Awareness-raising on land use issues and legal rights and responsibilities with communities and farm families.
  • Strengthening national, provincial and local legal recourse mechanisms for the users of land and agrobiodiversity resources.
