Outcome 5 Uptake of ABD Tools and Concepts in Partner Organizations

Outcome 5:  Partner institutions incorporate and use ABD tools and concepts for uplands livelihoods development

Through activities such as the provision of resources and tools, and by working with different organizations to implement subprojects, TABI supports the incorporation of agro-biodiversity approaches in partner organization’s activities. During Phase 2 TABI will expand these activities with a nation-wide and Lao cultural emphasis, to maximize the impact that these activities and resource can have.

 The key outputs under Outcome five are:

  1. District and Provincial development plans incorporate ABD and AES baselines, perspectives, approaches and activities, and apply understanding generated through spatial analysis.
  2. Central GoL agencies incorporate ABD into strategies, action plans and institution arrangements.
  3. A contract management and M&E system is established and empowering diverse stakeholders to effectively apply ABD concepts and participate in and shape local development.
